American Carbon Registry, GCC and UN CDM registries.

At Eagle Commodities, we assist clients in constructing and optimising their carbon asset portfolios across renewables, forestry, cookstoves and blue carbon projects. We help project developers access the finance needed to combat climate change. Eagle Commodities originates and structures long-term offtake agreements, ERPAs and call options on forward volumes for clients, to ensure their access to future tonnage.

1 - Born

A carbon reduction or removal project is created and developed.

2 - Verified

The project is verified by one of the 6 global carbon offset verification agencies.

3 - Audited

Once the project has been verified, the quantum of carbon removed/reduced in each year/vintage is audited by independent auditors

4 - Logged

Carbon credits are logged on the verification agencies’ registry.

5 - Sold

The Project developer sells carbon credits to corporates looking to offset carbon emissions.

6 - Removed

Corporate retires carbon credit against its emission and the credit is removed from the agencies’ registry to ensure against double-counting.
